In light of some questions raised about how to manage environment variables and “context sensitive” plug-in development, I’d like to share a write-up I did a couple of months ago about developing a bootstrapper for production. It’s called RFC57, or Terminal Context Sensitivity and is inspired by the bootstrapper we used at Framestore London.
