Role of "starter." in families name in starter

hi ,
what is the role of “starter.” in families name. when I remove it, pyblish_qml window couldn’t show the related collection and verification items of that asset?

I found out. Plugins families are set this way. If I like to rename the families in pipeline I should change the plugin’s families too.

For completeness, better mention that you are working with Pyblish Starter which is an optional complement to and example use of Pyblish.

And you’re right, the starter. prefix is merely a visual namespace, separating those plug-ins from plug-ins you may have written yourself or used from elsewhere, such as napoleon., magenta. or avalon..
